DeGrant Appointed To HBA Executive Committee
Mike DeGrant, Director of Development for Aspen View Homes and Horizon View Homes, has been appointed to the 2016 Board of Directors and Executive Board for the Colorado Springs Housing and Building Association.
Serving as a member-at-large, Mike is slated to fill the role of the Association’s President in 2018. “We’re so proud of Mike’s accomplishments within our company and equally proud of his accomplishments within the industry and the community,” said Randy O’Leary, President of Desert View Homes, the parent company of Horizon View Homes Colorado. “The success of any home builder depends on guys like Mike who give tirelessly of their time and expertise to create a better building environment and a better community.”
DeGrant who was named the 2014 Builder Member of the Year for the Housing and Building Association, oversees all Colorado land development including divisions in the Pikes Peak Region and north of Denver in Northern Colorado.
Active within the community, DeGrant serves on the Colorado Springs HBA Land Use Committee, CDPHE sub-committee, Utilities Committee and HBA Cares.
Mike also serves on the board at Life of Faith Church, the City’s Initiative to end Homelessness, City/County Continuum of Care Governance Board, the Partnership for Community Design, and the Development Review Enterprise. He is a volunteer at the Space Foundation and Habitat for Humanity, through HBA Cares.
